It is very common to have body acne, but despite that fact it can actually be the most difficult to put up with. Pimples normally show up on your body, most commonly on the back, chest and bottom, for numerous reasons. This is frequently due to hormonal changes or stress. It could also easily be caused by sweat on your skin, from exercising for example, which causes problems.
WHAT HAPPENS TO THE SKIN?
Acne starts as inflammation in the pores, which is caused by bacteria found in the blockages. It is down there that we need to focus our attention on.
HOW TO GET RID OF BODY ACNE:
- Use body products containing acid!
BHA is the most effective solution. This acid helps to losen up the sebum inside the pores, and has anti-inflammatory properties. The acid evens out the skin structure, leaving you with soft, supple skin. Test a peeling or lotion that contains acid. - Shower straight after exercising!
Do not leave sweat on your skin once your training session is over. If you will not have immediate access to a shower make sure to swap your gym top to something dry. - Do not squeeze!
Inflammation just tends to get worse if you get handsy on the affected areas. Use a caring treatment instead.

- Choose the Right Body Moisturiser! Apply a moisturiser that will soothe and repair your skin barrier, but make sure its labelled ‘non-comedogenic,’ (meaning they won’t clog your pores) that also means ditching the thick creams. e.g. A good recommendation would be CeraVe Moisturising Lotion.
